NANCY SWARTZ

The Free Clinic is blessed with a number of caring volunteers.  This edition, we are pleased to honor our Board of Directors, President—Nancy Swartz—for her hundreds of devoted volunteer hours.

Mrs. Swartz was first elected to the Board in 2014 where she quickly took on the leadership role of Board Treasurer, serving for two terms.  She was elected as the Board’s President in 2017, and is now serving her second term in that capacity.

For the past three years, Nancy has spent her Thursdays organizing and distributing medications to our patients at the Free Clinic.  Her calm demeanor and smile make all feel welcome.  She is a delightful addition to our patient care team.

Nancy served two years as our SML Charity Home Tour Team Leader, and two years as our co-leader.  She handled this very demanding job with her usual serene grace.  She is also the organizer of our annual Spring Fashion Show.

Nancy lives in Wirtz with her husband, Gene.  She has three adult daughters, Ellen, Julie and Melissa, and four grandchildren.  Nancy is retired from nursing and the insurance business.
