To sign up, please bring these documents so we can make sure you qualify and live in Franklin County, VA:

Complete Registration
Photo ID (ex: driver’s license, passport)

Am I eligible for care at Bernard Health Clinic?

What health problems do people usually come here for?
Some patients need immediate care for problems such as strep throat, sinus infections, skin rashes, and urinary tract infections. Other patients are seen for long-term, chronic problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, acid reflux, and anxiety/depression.
Can I get medicine for ongoing health problems here?
Yes, we regularly treat and provide medicine for patients with long-term conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, low thyroid, and high cholesterol. We also talk with our patients about how to manage their conditions and live a healthier life.
Do you see children (ages 0 - 17)?
We only do sports physicals. Otherwise, our services are focused on serving Franklin County adults ages 18 and older.
Can I get my prescriptions filled at the clinic?
When you become a registered and active patient, you can access our pharmacy. Occasionally, we can fill prescriptions related to an emergency room visit or specialist visit for existing patients.
Do you offer birth control?
We refer patients to the Franklin County Health Department for birth control, pregnancy, or sexually transmitted diseases.
